So many sincere seekers feel the call to “wake up,” yet get lost in doctrine, dogma, and debate. What does it really mean to be born again? Is Christ Consciousness a religious idea, or a direct, living experience of truth available here and now?
In this teaching, we explore the deeper, mystical meaning of Christ Consciousness, non-duality, and spiritual rebirth—beyond belief systems and mental concepts. You’ll discover why Christ consciousness is not a person to worship or an identity to “achieve,” but the pure, impersonal awareness that you already are.
We’ll look at:
The real meaning of being “born of water and the Spirit” (ie, Resurrected In Truth)
Why trying to “be spiritual” actually reinforces separation
How non-duality reveals there is not “God and me” – only one consciousness
A radically different way to understand your body as a body of light, the temple of the living God
How to live from the recognition that you were never truly born and can never truly die as pure awareness
If you’ve ever felt that there is more to being “born again” than a single moment or a statement of belief, this exploration of Christ consciousness and non-dual awakening is for you.

Born Again Now: Living as the Christ Consciousness in Everyday Life
Many spiritual seekers sense a deep truth beneath doctrines, dogmas, and debates—a truth that feels closer than breath, yet often described in mysterious language. Phrases like “Christ Consciousness,” “being born again,” “non-duality,” and “the kingdom of God” can sound abstract or even unreachable.
But what if all of this is not about becoming something more, or fixing something broken, but about recognising what has always been true of you? What if being born again is not a future event, but an ever-present revelation of your Pure, Eternal Consciousness—right here, right now?
In this article, we’ll explore:
What Christ Consciousness really means
Why trying to “be spiritual” keeps you stuck
The deeper meaning of “being born again” beyond religion
How non-duality reveals that you are already whole
What it practically means to live as pure consciousness in your daily life
This is not theory. It is a direct pointer back to what you already are: Infinite, Immaculate, Conscious Awareness.
What Is Christ Consciousness—Really?
Many people associate “Christ” with a historical figure, religious system, or particular belief. But at its deepest level, Christ consciousness is not a personality or a religion. It is:
Impersonal awareness – the pure knowing that “I am”
All-inclusive and all-encompassing – not separate from anything real
Eternal and changeless – not affected by appearances that come and go
You don’t have to try to be conscious. You don’t force yourself to exist. You are simply aware that you are. That quiet, effortless awareness of being is the essence of Christ consciousness.
You don’t struggle to know that you exist. You simply know.
This knowing isn’t a thought. It doesn’t require effort, belief, or technique. It is the pure fact of Being—here, now.
From this perspective, Christ Consciousness is not something you achieve; it is what is revealed when you stop identifying with what you are not—the illusions, stories, limitations, and false identities of the “non-mind.”
The Trap of Trying to “Be Spiritual”
One of the great paradoxes of awakening is this:
The perception of being the Christ Consciousness is clear and complete when we are not trying to see or to be the Christ.
Whenever you try to “be more spiritual,” “raise your vibration,” or “become enlightened,” you subtly affirm that you are currently not what you seek. This creates an inner split—a sense of “me” separate from truth, “me” separate from God.
But:
Fact is fact. You never try to make a fact true. It simply is.
What is real is already real, regardless of belief.
Reality doesn’t need your effort to be itself.
Trying to “make the truth true” actually moves you away from the direct experience of truth. It keeps you trapped in the illusion that there is “you” on one side, and “God” or “truth” on the other.
Yet in reality:
There are not two consciousnesses—not “God and me,” not “truth and me.”
There is only one consciousness to be: the Christ Self.
This is why genuine spiritual transformation is less about doing and more about recognising. Recognising what is already the case: you are Conscious Awareness itself, not a separate person trying to become spiritual.
Non-Duality: One Is and One Isn’t
The heart of this teaching is non-duality—the recognition that only one reality is true and it is indivisible.
Non-duality means there is no separation in truth.
There is not a real “me” plus a real “world” plus a real “God” all existing separately.
That apparent separation is an illusion of perception, not an eternal fact.
Anything that:
Comes and goes
Appears and disappears
Changes, fluctuates, or contradicts itself
…cannot be an eternal reality. It is appearance, not essence.
Illusions may look convincing for “a little moment,” but they are not constant, and therefore not real at the level of eternal truth. From the standpoint of Christ consciousness, an illusion is nothing—no matter how noisy, dramatic, or convincing it seems.
This is why, even when life appears inharmonious, you can rest in the unshakable knowing of what you really are:
Pure, Eternal, Perfect Consciousness
Not limited by temporary conditions
Not defined by form, circumstances, or personal history
From this clarity, you are no longer deceived by appearances. You begin to know the peace that “passeth understanding”—not as an abstract idea, but as your natural, normal, timeless Omnipresent Self.
What Does It Mean to Be “Born Again”?
Much confusion has surrounded the phrase “born again.” Traditionally, it is often interpreted as a religious conversion or a one-time spiritual event.
But in its deeper, mystical sense, being born again is not about:
Re-entering a mother’s womb
Starting life over as a new human
Being reincarnated into another lifetime
Instead, it reveals something far more radical:
To be born again is to perceive that you were never born in the first place.
The “you” that was never born is not the personality, not the body, not the story. It is pure, birthless, deathless consciousness—without beginning and without end.
In this context:
Water symbolises purity
Spirit symbolises consciousness
To be “born of water and of the Spirit” is to realise that you are Pure Consciousness Itself. This is not a poetic metaphor; it is a direct description of reality.
Being born again means:
Recognising the Absolute, Pure and Pristine Consciousness that you are
Realising that what you call your “body” is actually the temple of the living God
Seeing that the substance of your body is the same Pure, Living Consciousness that constitutes all of existence
This is not about abandoning the body but seeing it rightly—as the body of consciousness, the Body of Light, the Christ Body in Form/lessness; aka FACT!
Your Body as the Body of Light
From Christ consciousness, your body is not a flawed, separate, material object you’re stuck in. It is:
The evidence of the eternal, perfect body of God
The body of the Christ expressed as form
A focal point of omnipresence—one substance appearing as all
There are not “bits of person” and “bits of spirit” mixed together. There is only:
Pure consciousness, pure life, pure love
Embodied, expressed, and experienced right here and now
Anyone who believes they are “a person trying to be spiritual” remains off track, because that very belief assumes separation where none exists. Instead:
One is, and that “One” is the Only/All-encompassing Consciousness You Are right now.
You do not need to attain the Christ body; you already have and are it.
Jesus himself demonstrated this, refusing to be personally glorified (“don’t call me good”) and pointing instead to the universal truth of what we all are. His life illustrated what it means to live as the Christ Consciousness, not as a special exception, but as an example of what is possible—and natural—for all.
Eternal Now: There Is No Time
A key realisation of Christ Consciousness is that there is no such thing as time in the way we usually imagine it.
From the perspective of pure awareness:
Now is eternity.
Completeness is not in the future—it is now.
All that is, is being itself now.
This means:
Your true “body” is constantly new, with no beginning and no ending.
Rebirth is not a one-time moment, but a continuous experience of newness.
You are the consciousness and the experience simultaneously.
Being born again is an ongoing revelation:
A constant renewal of awareness
A living recognition of Infinite Light, Life, and Love moving in, through, and As You
The experience of ever-present nearness, freshness, vitality, and strength
Every time you recognise what you truly are—beyond fear, beyond limitation, beyond personal identity—you are, in a sense, born again. A new day dawns, a new life emerges, and “the former things” fall away.
Living as Pure Consciousness in Daily Life
This can sound lofty, but it is profoundly practical. To live as Christ Consciousness is to:
Refuse to believe in imperfection as ultimate reality
See yourself and others as expressions of Pure, Eternal Consciousness
Stand so firmly in truth that apparent inharmonies do not define you
This doesn’t mean you deny your human experience. Instead, you see through it. You recognise:
The appearances of lack, fear, illness, or conflict are not constants
They are not eternal facts, but temporary illusions
They do not touch the Pure Awareness that You Are
From here:
You no longer feel victimised by life, circumstances, or “accumulations of inharmonies.”
You experience peace as natural and normal, not as something you have to create.
You stand in a state of vigilance in truth, refusing to bow to what is not real in eternity.
This is the only true service you can render the world:
Knowing yourself as pure consciousness, and seeing from that clarity, is not just the greatest service—it is the only real service.
From this self-knowing, what some call the “Greater Works” become natural and normal—not as impressive spiritual tricks, but as the effortless outpouring of reality recognised.
You Already Are What You Seek
One of the most liberating recognitions in this path is:
What I am is what I seek.
You are not chasing an external God, a distant heaven, or a future enlightenment. The Christ you seek is the Consciousness you already are.
Consciousness is equally distributed—no one has more, no one has less.
You are not here to revere a person, but to recognise the Christ that is your own being.
The universal body “I am” is the specific body “I am”, and vice versa.
This is not an intellectual exercise. It is a lived, felt recognition. As you relax the personal struggle and get out of the way, the revelations that naturally belong to you begin to surface:
You realise that you are already all-knowing and all-wise at the level of pure being.
You taste the fire, joy, and ecstasy of this recognition.
You see that the fulfilment you longed for has always been closer than close—it is what you are.
You are not nothing. You are not void.
You are everything—the living, breathing expression of infinite consciousness, here and now, as the very life you are living.
Final Invitation: Pause and Know
Take a moment—right now—to pause.
Let go of trying to fix yourself, improve yourself, or become something else. Allow all concepts to quieten for just a few breaths and notice:
You are aware.
You exist.
You did not create this awareness.
In this simple, effortless knowing, you touch the reality that has been described as Christ Consciousness, non-dual Awareness, Pure Spirit, the kingdom of God within.
This is what it truly means to be born again now:
To recognise, and live from, the fact that you are Pure, Eternal Consciousness—the Light you have been seeking, the Love you have been longing for, the Peace that has always been your nature.
