FORGIVEN: How To Forgive
A Life Beyond Guilt, Grievance, and the Need for Forgiveness, because there is nothing to forgive…
“The Truth that God is Infinite, One Alone, means there is no duality to overcome, no devil, evil or error, no sin or guilt to be corrected, set right or cast out. Perfection is eternally perfect, without variance or dissimulation. And this is Salvation, already an accomplished, living Reality, and never otherwise.” — Alfred Aiken
This book is an invitation to remove the veil of illusion, the misperception of guilt, shame, embarassment, unworthiness, lack and limitation from your eyes in the revelation of true and genuine Identification. What I really 'is', is not what you have believed. I is Immaculate and Innocent without exception. YOU are already forgiven because there has never been anything to forgive!
"Forgiven" is not a command to do something. It is an acknowledgement of What IS.
It is not: "Become who you are not yet."
It is: "Recognize who you have always been."
It is not: "Achieve union with God."
It is: "Notice that separation from God has never been real."
It is not: "Purify yourself until you are worthy."
It is: "See that you have never been stained, never been guilty, never been anything other than the immaculate innocence of God expressing in form."
This is the work. This is the only work there ever was. And it is already complete.
Not because you completed it. But because Reality, Being What It Is, God being God, has never been incomplete. And you are not separate from Reality.
Beloved, this, is an invitation to finally LIVE your inherent Perfection, let's not delay!
This book is not for everyone, and this is not a warning but an invitation.
If you seek a method for self-improvement, a technique for managing guilt, or a roadmap to peace, this is not the book. Many other books offer these noble pursuits; this one does not.
This book is for those who have tried every method yet sense something essential is missing; for those who have forgiven repeatedly, yet still feel the weight of the past; for those curious if peace is already present; and for those who sense that peace is a recognition, not a destination, and wish to live fully from it.
The central claim of this book is clear: there is nothing to forgive. This assertion serves as the foundation for everything presented in the chapters that follow.
Not because wrongs do not seem to occur, or because pain is not experienced as real in its own context. Rather, the self that appears to be wronged and the self that appears to do wrong are both understood as expressions of a single, undivided consciousness. This consciousness remains intrinsically untouched, unbroken, and unharmed; it does not lose its unity or purity, regardless of apparent appearances, events.
You are already forgiven. You always have been. Not by a God who weighs your actions and grants clemency, but by your very nature: pure, whole, eternal awareness. Every trace of guilt, sin, and separation arises and dissolves like a wave on the ocean—never touching the depths.
The word Forgiven in this book's title is not a verb. It is not being done to you. It is a state—your actual, present, unchangeable condition. It is what you are when the dream of separation is seen through. This was always true, even when the dream seemed real.
This book guides you through recognition: what it means, why it matters, why conventional forgiveness falls short, and how the illusion of separation causes suffering. It shows how to live—practically, daily, in relationships, the body, work, finances, every part of experience—from the ground of what you truly are.
How This Book Differs
There are many books about forgiveness. Most of them—however wise and carefully written—work within the idea of the separate self. They offer methods for the separate self to forgive other separate selves. They describe the psychological benefits of releasing grievance and the spiritual value of choosing compassion over resentment. These books are genuinely helpful, and they have brought real relief to many people.
This book takes a different approach. Rather than teaching a method for the separate self to forgive, it examines the very framework that creates the need for forgiveness. The central question is: what if the separate self—the one supposedly wronged and the one who must forgive—is not ultimately real? Could the structures of guilt, grievance, and forgiveness rest on a mistaken identity? And could this mistaken identity be seen through immediately, simply by recognising what is actually true?
The non-dual wisdom traditions claim this: the separate self isn’t our truth, Reality Is One, and recognising this present fact of Oneness dissolves all suffering born of separation.
The book is organised in three parts. Part One — The Ground — lays the foundation: what you truly are, how the belief in separation arises, why conventional forgiveness falls short, and what the nature of reality actually is. Part Two — The Recognition — explores what it means to recognise yourself as already Forgiven: the end of guilt, the release of grievance, and the nature of love. Part Three — The Living — brings the recognition into the full texture of daily life: relationships, the body, work, and abundance.
You need not read this book in order or agree with everything in it. Just bring honest attention—a willingness to look directly at what is true, without protecting prior conclusions.
What you find may surprise you. It may be simpler and nearer than you expected.
