I KNOW That I Know Nothing

"I KNOW that I know nothing!"

These are fighting words to ego, which is prepared to defend ‘belief’ voraciously, sometimes to the death.

Have you ever argued your point (perspective), judged others for theirs? There's no need to answer, it's impossible not to when we have accepted the rules of the game of person-hood, a mere sleight of hand that defines & confines the lives of the vast majority slumbering under the illusion & spell of mortality. You can see this for yourself if you want to, if your desire for Truth & calling toward the Highest Love is strong.

The spoiler alert in this conversation is the fact that you are not your thoughts, not your beliefs, not your ideas, not your assumptions, not your feelings, not your behaviour, not even your body in Truth. Carry on if you're ready to claim your True Worth!

You don’t need to defend the person you thought you were with all the 'plans' you seemed to make & in fact doing so actually hurts you & leads nowhere you really want to go.

Truth be told (pointed to), & that’s kind of what we do around these parts, everything you think you know opposes the fulfilment of your Soul & keeps you stuck on a hamster wheel of lack.

Could you, would you be willing to see everything differently? To be ‘wise’ enough to declare “I Know NOTHING!”

Most won’t, but if you’re far enough advanced on the Awakening journey, perhaps this conversation will ignite the Light of Being, the True Teacher within, the One that is Wise beyond mortal understanding.

To stand in this state of ultimate surrender opens the very door we’re all seeking, the portal to Divine Wisdom & the Light of Reality in Heaven. A Life of living IN Abundance that makes the world of efforting & hustling swoon & blush!

I spent most of the time in the classroom that is the world, playing the character of Sally, entirely UN-willing to relinquish ‘my’ personal perspective. In fact, mired in the legendary arrogance of those who believe themselves to be something they’re not. Pursuing dreamed idols that look like success in the limited eyes of the world of things, but are really empty, as we all come to discover. This unavoidable arrogance is inherent in the thought system of ego, or the personal self; aka the person believing themselves separate from their environment as some kind of verified fact, leading to the belief in separation from others & the Source of Life it Self. This arrogance is actually impersonal, as is everything that is observed in the world.

It is the person we have misidentified with as a categorical fact (without investigation which has led to a serious addiction to a self that doesn't exist) that is the cause of ALL suffering. The person we covet is the frenemy of all frenemies, slowly leading you toward death. Take a moment to verify this for yourself. Has there EVER been a problem that didn't include the 'idea' of a person at the core, aka the name you've merely given yourself & every other label of identity, personality & all that is personal that goes with it? Everything that happens from birth to death is all dreamed. Yet this time-space dream does not & cannot touch Reality, the Truth of You is protected until you’re ready to Wake UP!

How can that which is inherently limited & fragmented through personal perception really know anything at all!?!?

Spiritual Awakening has nothing to do with a person, there is no person AND Truth (Spirit). One is not real, the imposter that is the illusory person is dissolved in the Light of Spiritual Reality. The pretendy dream of person-hood is simply put down as Love's Reality is allowed.

THIS is the news those with ready ears must hear to fly in Grace!

There is nothing personal about the character you have misidentified as you & when you ‘see’ this, Infinite Love can be revealed. You are resurrected in True Identity in the absence of misperception, no longer under the influence of the personal thought system of ego, ie the person you have mistaken yourself to be.

There is nothing to 'do' in a dreamed world, it is simply the change in mind at the level of cause that manifests True Worth. What you see is what you made your mind up to see. You can't change anything you see, you change HOW you see. This doesn't mean choose a new thought because thoughts are downstream in the illusion, they've already accepted the original lie of person-hood (aka original sin). You go to the root, the cause. You aren't here to change the world, rather to Awaken from the deception of the senses, judge not by appearances as the ancient teaching states oh so elegantly!

The character I has assumed, presumed & accepted as "I" mistakenly had valued information as an education & self-improvement junkie until revelation struck me sane. A Mystical insight turned things upside down & right way up, pointing me in the right direction back home to the Light. I had been walking further into the dark, the wilderness, of attainment, achievement & specialness as a dreamed character. And with every accolade I could sense the emptiness growing, I was pursuing nothing valuable, every pursuit FOR something is misdirected. If it isn't eternal, it is valueless & everything of the world, everything that comprises it in every possible way doesn't last. That's the most obvious clue need to spot what is false there is. To even think I 'knew' what would make me happy was a revelation that accelerated my journey to Joy.

There is a teaching in A Course in Miracles that held me on course which says that we never question the reality of the problem. We aren't taught about the mechanics of mind & this is a fatal oversight in 'education', or is the evil genius of ego?

That which is True & that which is false is evident & obvious in every moment, learning to distinguish between the seeming two is your ticket to Divine Liberation. When we can 'see' with clarity what is false, the Truth BEAMS through, it's just plain obvious.

Self-Realization is the greatest service we can render to ourselves (who doesn't want imperturbable Bliss), & the Sonship.

Most spend their lives wrestling nothing, pursuing illusions, missing the mark not just by a little, but by an entire make believe reality! There is NO thing to do, get or be, What you already Are is ALREADY Reality here & now, just forgotten & out of sight. The present moment is the 'way' home Beloved, you've got all that you need right where you are.

Ego's greatest defense is launched against the present moment! It will defend time & space like a ninja of repute & let's be honest, most never overcome the smoke & mirrors of the perceptual illusion of separation. Vigilance FOR Love is required, purifying the mind of the illusion that is ego is key in order to see through & beyond the 'trick' of humanity.

I came to 'see' that all of the beliefs, assumptions, ideas, concepts, opinions, preferences & thoughts that I was holding onto were the invisible barrier to Truth, a thin veil to the deepest desire of Perfect Fulfilment that I was trying to ‘find’ & ‘do’.

I not only thought I knew something, I thought I knew a lot! A LOT! I had picked up the ball of “knowledge is power” (thinking this meant information) & run with it like an Olympic champion, filling my intellect with what I thought was need to conquer this game of life.

Turns out I was wrong! Wrong about what knowledge really is, having confused information for real knowledge (Wisdom). THIS was the best mistake of my life, one that put me on track for the goal of Perfect Fulfilment & I want to share this with anyone who wants the Peace that passeth understanding too!

Wisdom isn’t an opinion, a preference, a belief, an idea, a judgement of good or bad. True Wisdom is not of this world, it is Divine, all encompassing without winners & losers because there are no opposites. There is only One, beyond the reaches of the fear that underpins ALL opposites of perception.

Divine Wisdom leads to Truth.

It’s actually really logical, to know everything, you can’t know anything! Perspective by nature is just a part, a fragment, lacking. The Truth is Whole…Complete.

There is not a person that has the Truth, it belongs to no-one, it is everyone’s.

The Truth is always present in this game of mind. Mind & matter are one in the same as you recall from our previous conversations, there is no inside & outside. What we call the outside is an outpicturing of an inward condition, ie thought forms, thoughts appearing as form quite literally. The world is images made of thoughts in the mind, all equally unreal.

In the absence of the thoughts I’d been playing with, the lesser self of person-hood was transcended & replaced with pure Awareness. Identification with the True Self in Beingness, the indivisible formless Self is realized & this is where I indeed know nothing intellectually. Rather, Wisdom is known at the deepest level of Cause in Being; One with All.

The dream of person-hood dissolves into the nothingness from whence it came, allowing the Light that “I Am” to be lived.

When Life is informed by the Truth, it is naturally experienced as Whole, Complete, PERFECT!

The ‘way’ home is through discernment, mastering mind through the recognition of that which is false (temporal phenomena) & that which is True (timeless & changeless). Right where you stand right here & right now, the Truth is all encompassing & it is merely the un-questioned sense of person-hood that corrupts the view of Infinite Limitless Joy.

You have to get behind the error in perception, to see the lie in the mind that leads to the deception of separation. We must get to the bottom by going down the rabbit hole, expose the false as false. Anyone can do this, Perfect Joy is Reality & it's for ALL!

If you want to know the Truth, you can. As A Course in Miracles says: “Truth is restored to you through your desire, as it was lost to you through your desire for something else.”

I had to come to clearly see that my desire for understanding in the world of separation was preventing me from knowing the very thing I really wanted. I had to genuinely, sincerely stand in absolute humility, declaring “I know I know NOTHING”, in order to pass through the portal to Heaven’s Oneness.

The preparation required for this level of surrender is persistent ‘right’ forgiveness. Forgiveness really does offer everything “I” want!

When the question is no longer what is known, BUT what is 'knowing', we find ourselves Awakening from the hamster wheel of the made up world of separation. We are indeed all connected as science as revealed, we are One in Wholeness as Enlightenment proves.

You'll discover that you, a person isn't living life. Rather Live is living YOU in Oneness.
